I might be a bit premature in saying farewell to summer with the temperatures hovering around 80 degrees, but the kids have returned to school, football is back, tomatoes and other summer produce is dwindling . . . summer is over!
That means it’s time to set our sights on food that will match the changing temperature and the switch to Daylight Savings time. I don’t know about you, but when it starts to get dark around 5:00 p.m., I’m suddenly craving soups and stews. I am definitely a seasonal eater!
So give some of my recipes a try and I’m hopeful that you will make them a part of your cooking repertoire — Meatballs & Meatball Sandwich, London Broil, Sweet Potato Casserole, Chicken Breast Stuffed with Prosciutto, Gruyere & Cheese — and more!
Follow me on Instagram and Facebook under cluelessculinary.com and please feel free to write comments and reviews. I also welcome recipe requests. In case you’re new to this website, it’s geared to the novice cook. That means that I’ve included a section on the Ins & Outs of ingredient preparation, as well as a shopping list at the bottom of each recipe which is aptly named Grocery Bag. Just click on the link and you’ll have a shopping list ready to go!
